The Four Icon Challenge/Kyle Tezak
Kyle Tezak makes these small posters for well-know movies, books, historical events, with just four icons. Incredibly, the icons seem to capture the essence of each…thing…to a tee! (For more on Kyle, click here.) All of Kyle’s work is clean, clear, and no-nonsense. I especially like his logos, so go check them out!

The Bear Cave
The work of this New York based design duo is simply beautiful. I especially love “Last Bummer“ Records. Clean lines, geometric repetition, and a nice sense of color and form really brings out the temperament of the firm, which I feel is friendly but hip.

Whelp, looks like Starbucks is finally rolling out their new identity. I for one love it…but I’ve heard other remarks to the contrary.
I especially like the introduction of that lime green on the coffee collar. Combined with a bleed and that nice zoomed-in trademark, very nice!
