 This photograph would make such an amazing painting I think it is worth sharing from a favorite blog, Cannelle et Vanille. The color and direction of each boat and each bumper-buoy are so lively! Cannelle et Vanille is actually a food blog written by Aran Goyoaga—a chef and food photographer who captures marvelous images of the things that come out of her kitchen. If ever there was an argument for food being an arm of design, C&V would be it!

The Four Icon Challenge/Kyle Tezak

Kyle Tezak makes these small posters for well-know movies, books, historical events, with just four icons. Incredibly, the icons seem to capture the essence of each…thing…to a tee! (For more on Kyle, click here.) All of Kyle’s work is clean, clear, and no-nonsense. I especially like his logos, so go check them out!

How Will Bryant drew the cover for Bluetooth’s periodical, Signature. Will currently works at Public School, a creative collective based out of Austin, TX. Adam Voorhes, who does impressive work himself, photographed it.

By the way, the charming backing music is by Animal Collective, whose homespun jams suit this chalkboard wizardry very well.
